quirky and convenient stay
perfect location unique theme extra space
The location is wonderful. the bus and subway are a short walk away, connecting you to many attractions. i enjoyed the unique prison theme. It felt different from regular hotels. we chose a large room and i appreciated the extra space. It never felt cramped.
only one window in the room opened , and there was no air conditioning. the curtains also did not fully cover the window.

the double room provided comfortable space for our family and had enough room for luggage. the beds were neatly made, and the linens felt fresh. the lighting fixtures gave the room a warm ambience , while keeping functionality with bedside lamps.

historical prision transformed into a hotel
breakfast buffet polite staff hotel history
the breakfast buffet stood out, it was great and offered many options. the staff were super polite and always helpful, answering all questions. I found lots of history and information available, detailing the hotels past.
only one window opened in the room, very stuffy. there was no air conditioning, i did not like this. the curtains also didn't cover the entire window.

the breakfast provided was bountiful, i really liked it. there was a wide array of options available, many of them vegan, which suprised me. the tomato and almond paste really stood out to me.

small room stuffy room
the breakfast options felt acceptable. it covered the basics, i suppose.
the room was too small for me. it felt cramped, and i kept bumping into things. the window didn't fully block out light, so the room never got completely dark at night. i also found the lack of air conditioning a real issue, the room just stuffy.
